Brightens My Mood When the Office Doesn’t
You don’t realize how dim lighting is in the office til you use this. Great product, not as good as natural sunlight obviously but nice when I’m stuck in the office and can’t get outside. this isn’t a regular desk lamp, it’s for light therapy, alternative to morning/early afternoon sunlight. Anyone could benefit using it. give it a try if you work at home or in an office! I’ve had the product for over a year and still works perfect.

Ingenious design. Took a minute to figure out the twisty twistys but just a minute. VERY easy to use. VERY bright. The light I am replacing (after fourteen years) had a timer, which was nice but not really necessary. Added plus, it is very streamlined and pleasing to look at. My old one was a big box.

Update: 2/19/2019I am changing my review to 5 stars due to improvements in the latest version and the customer service.I contacted Circadian Optics about the light going out by email. Big surprise to me. They contacted me within 12 hours to confirm mailing address. After confirmation, they sent me a shipping confirmation within another 12 hours! This is the single fastest turn around on a warranty request EVER!!I had the original (V1) of this light. I received the 2nd version as a warranty replacement. So this is a review of the 2nd version as it compare’s to the original. After a few days use, I can said that it is an improvement. The light physically looks alike, but there are improvements.1. The issue I have with the base not being stable seems to have been resolved with this version. I don’t know how since they look physically the same. It just rocks less and doesn’t fall over as easily.2. The light now starts from high to low. The original version go from low to high. For me, I prefer the High to low since I usually use high.3. The power supply itself has changed.- The old was 5V 3A (15 Watt). The new is 12V 1.5A (18 Watts). So DON’T use the new with the old.- The old length of the cord was 3 ft. The new is 6 ft. Moving to 6 ft makes a huge different for those of us in the US since the electrical code for spacing between outlets are 12 ft. I am now able to put the light where I need it.- The power supply appears to be almost twice the size of the original. I am hoping that this is a good sign that it is more robust.I am now ready to order another for my daughter!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Original Review:I have a mild case of SAD during the winter. I was using a Philip’s blue SAD light for about a decade or more. Based on more recent research, the blue light can demage some people’s eyes and a full spectrum light is recommended for people w/ SAD. I chose this light because of the size and advertised as full spectrum with good reviews at the time.After 1.25 year of use during cloudy days and in Winter (about 2-4 hours average per week), here is take.Pro:- Compact. I don’t move it around and only use it in my office. This is something initial need to bring around w/ me.- Cost – More affordable than the Philips $100+ options.- Will built – The light itself feels solid with simple control.Con:- Broken power supply after a year of use. Seems to be common based on other reviews. They appear to have an updated power supply for 2019. Also, light says 3 years warranty but web site says 2 years. I have sent them an email for warranty and will see what the response is. Hence the 3 stars and not 4.- The base is small and can easily be knock over. I use some tape to hold it in place. It need to have something to stabilize it.

Works well, wakes me up in the morning. I will say the design is a bit weird, I was expecting it to be more maneuverable but it feels more like a giant flip phone. The base is very sturdy so it does make a good lamp, easy to use single button setup. No flickering.

Bright Light Therapy Lamp Works As Promised
I’ve had this product for about two weeks and have been using it daily for about 30 minutes each morning. The lamp works well and fits seamlessly into my office space. I’ve enjoyed the multiple setting for light intensity which allowed me to ease into its use over the first few days. I’ve also noticed improvements in mood and energy levels throughout the day as well as a reduction in that “afternoon crash”.

Great product, wonderful customer service
I purchased the Lumos light to make the winter months easier. I researched quite a few options and found this company to have great reviews. The lumos is small and portable, very bright and quite effective. I could have written a review within two weeks but wanted to wait.I’ve found that 15-30 minutes in the morning, while reading or getting ready in close proximity to lamp, has produced great results. I’m no longer exhausted in the afternoon, nor do I need to sleep when I get home from work. I’m not edgy or irritated with simple things at all. Recognize that this is a personal experience… however it is significant for improvement in depression that increases in the winter months. For people who have Seasonal Depression this product is a must have. I have year round depression and end up with cycles of major depression through winter months most years, this is helping to limit those debilitating symptoms.If you’re skeptical try it for a few weeks, it’s worth the effort and the money.Also, I had an issue with my lamp and the customer service was quick to respond and help me continue using my lamp! Phenomenal customer service.

I’ve been using this for many months now. I placed it at the edge of my computer screens and turn it on in the morning to get my energy up. I find it’s very helpful, and also enjoy the added benefits of:- Being able to adjust the light level to my comfort;- Being able to use it as a focussed desk light by bending the neck downwards; and- How when I set the light to a low level, it helps illuminate my face during video calls

I suffer from sleep issues, I haven’t noticed an increase in sleep yet, it’s probably due to my daily habits. But i’ve noticed this definitely helps first thing in the morning. I definitely realize my brain is less foggy and I also feel less groggy and slow. I use it for about 10-20 minutes per day, the light is super bright but is adjustable to a lower brightness. But I do recommend the highest setting first thing in the morning for about 5 minutes and then you can lower it.It’s important to note if you suffer from sleep issues to also look into getting orange filter glasses as well to block blue light, incorporate more exercise light walking and weights and less time consuming social media.
