Crazy Go Nuts started in late 2013 with 32 burlap sacks of uncracked walnuts.

After receiving an email from her father about the 1200 pounds of walnuts he had picked on his small Lake County, CA farm, co-founder Courtney Carini decided to expand upon a decades-old family recipe. She and co-founder David Wolfe then created six more recipes, and several weeks of trial and error later they had what was the beginning of Crazy Go Nuts!

What makes our products unique?

Walnuts are a superfood, and one of the healthiest things you can put in your body. Look it up, you’ve got Google. They are known for their high content of omega-3s and antioxidants, among a myriad of other health benefits.

Are the walnuts raw or roasted?

Neither. They are steam pasteurized at 200 degrees F for 9 minutes.

Do these need to be refrigerated?

You are welcome to put any of our products in the fridge to extend shelf life, or even the freezer, but it isn’t required as long as it is in a cool, dark place.
