Helps with dry eyes
I think taking DHEA affects people differently because everyone has a different hormonal profile. I’ve been taking this for about 2 weeks, half a capsule per day, so around 25mg. Prior to taking this, I had fairly dry facial skin. Lately, I have been waking up in the morning with a sheen on my face. Granted, it’s summer time, so the soaring temperature may have something to do with it. But I believe the DHEA is indeed converting into androgens in my body.I also had very dry eyes, and the DHEA is helping somewhat. Based on my readings, there are androgen receptors inside the eye lids, and without adequate amount of androgen in the body, the eyes cannot make lubricants to keep the eyes moist. If you have experienced very dry eyes you know how painful it can be. My eyes are still on the dry side, but lately I haven’t been feeling pain. What a relief.Energy wise, I can’t tell if the DHEA is making a difference. If you are new to DHEA, I recommend that you start with a small dose and work your way up. I think 25mg per day is enough for me.

Quality control for Lot# 64122 was a real let down!
I was happy to find a product that had 50mg capsules of micronized DHEA and was less expensive than other brands. I’ve purchased several bottles so far, but the most recent one was a real let down. It had some capsules that were obviously smaller in size than the majority of the bottle. They obviously cannot contain the full 50mg dose! Quality control missed the mark!
