REM Sleep!!!!! Reached the 1st night,14hrs sleep!
This mask is worth every penny! I never thought I’d spend $60+ on a sleep mask. (This was on sale at the time of purchase). I have a few on my list of friends to buy these for for either a holiday or their birthday. This is amazing I’ve had so many different ones where I end up pulling them off and can’t deal with the tight elastic band that ultimately goes limp anyways this one is like a soft pillow across your eyes and although a person should probably wash their face and take their eyelashes off if you have lashes depending on how long they are it may or may not bother them. I wear strip lashes and I slept with the mask the third night with lashes on and it didn’t seem to bother them or me. The first night I slept with this with no lashes I slept for 14 hours I could not believe it the second night I slept for a good 7 hours which is generally what I need. And then again the third night I woke up early morning to use the restroom and the mask was off apparently but I put it back on and I got another 5 hours and a dream out of it! I’ve had dreams the last three nights I am so thankful something has finally gotten me into REM sleep. And FYI I have taken 10 mg of chewable melatonin the 1st 2 nights then 7.5 mgs the 3rd night to really help me jump start my circadian rhythm. I also do my best to make sure I cut out caffeine between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and if I forget I take 200mgs of L-theanine which helps cut the effect of caffeine and any kind of jittery feeling FYI do your own research but that is why some people can drink tea over coffee and be fine. If it’s still too pricey I recommend putting it in your cart and making it a favorite so you’ll get notified when the price drops but oh my God if you’re on the fence, buy it! I bought the pretty teal green one and I would not be ashamed to wear this on an airplane either I love it! It is like a cloud of Heaven for your eyes ladies use a makeup wipe at least before you put this on just to keep the silk nice I know sometimes we’re so wiped out we don’t even want to wash our faces at times but keep some makeup wipes next to your bed at least before you put this on.

Stomach Sleeper Review: DROWSY Silk Sleep Mask versus MZOO Luxury Sleep Eye Mask
I absolutely love this product, and the price was totally worth it for me! Before this, I used a basic silk sleep mask with an elastic band, which I bought a few times from Amazon. When they stopped making it, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I was torn between the DROWSY Silk Sleep Mask and the MZOO Luxury Sleep Eye Mask, both of which have strong ratings. I tried both, in case anyone else is curious about the two. For context, I’m a stomach sleeper. The MZOO mask intrigued me because of the padding, but I found it really uncomfortable—the eye cutouts irritated me, and felt too large. The padded cushion also pressed into my face in a way I didn’t enjoy. The DROWSY mask, on the other hand, is amazing. The silk padding feels so lovely, and I find the way it hugs my head super comforting. My hair also looks really good after wearing it. It definitely does the job blocking out the light and it’s comfy in all positions. I also haven’t had issues with it coming off in the night. Definitely the luxury upgrade I was looking for!

Did I “need” to buy an 80$ silk sleep mask? Probably not. Did I deserve one? Absolutely. Do you? Yup.This mask is comfortable, soft, dark (I bought the dusty pink one, btw, but they have a blackout layer in the middle, so pick the color you love), and extends down over just enough of my face and over my ears. I can still hear my white noise, but I cannot open my eyes (in a comforting way), nor see any light at all. The silk feels nice on my skin and the hook and loop closure (aka “velcro”) is super solid and makes it perfectly adjustable. No reason for it to be too tight or enough to give you a headache. Yes, mine comes off in the night, but you know what? By that point, I am completely out and don’t even notice.Let’s get philosophical. This might seem way out there, but you need to be told: You deserve nice things. And you deserve decent sleep. Turn on your white noise, take your supplements and wrap your face in silk. Buy the expensive thing first (whatever it is), because cheaping-out will just make you buy the same thing over again when the cheap thing inevitably sucks.

It’s great for the most part! It keeps out the light and the silkiness is wonderful, but it’s hot….my face gets real warm when I wear this that I end up taking it off throughout the night.

The best sleep mask on Amazon
I ordered every high-end sleep mask they sell on Amazon (DROWSY, Lunya, SECZIPE, Baloo, Nodpod, and Bearaby) and tested them all. Most of them had non-adjustable elastic which was either too tight, or will eventually become too loose. The DROWSY was the winner hands-down. It has a velcro adjustable back which stays in place nicely and is not too thick when the two ends are connected together. The front of the mask is super soft on my face, blocks 100% of the light, and the sides cover your ears and block out background noise. I have to buy another one since my girlfriend who has always hated sleep masks, stole mine and she loves it.

I wanted to give an accurate review of this mask, considering the price of it. So I’ve used it for three months, so I can be certain on how I feel about it.First of all, I’m a very poor sleeper. I was at the end of my tether with my husband waking me up coming to bed late every night (not really his fault, I’m a very light sleeper), so I invested in a mask and a sound machine.The combination of both has really helped me to be disturbed a lot less. I genuinely don’t think I could sleep without this mask now, with that being said I did not try a cheaper alternative (I’ve seen a couple of dupes on here but I wanted to try the real deal, rather than waste money on them and then on top of that end up buying this in the end) so I bit the bullet from the start and just bought it. The price is eye watering. It really doesn’t need to be this expensive.It comes in a lovely box, feels luxurious, it doesn’t look as thick and padded as it does in the pictures. But it’s still comfy and blacks out light if I tie it tight. It helps me to fall asleep a lot faster than normal, it’s very silky soft and relaxing, as soon as you put it on it just feels like a big hug.I haven’t tried to wash it yet. Grim I know (I do double cleanse before bed though my face is clean) but I’m just so scared of ruining the mask after the price of it. I don’t think it would be the same after a wash, the silk seems quite flimsy.I would only buy it on sale, the standard price is too high. I’d say for me who was being woken up every night it’s worth it, if anything happened to it id most likely repurchase.UPDATE: I have had this mask for [too ashamed to say] and still haven’t washed it, so today I put it on a cold hand wash cycle, air dried it on the radiator and it still looks and feels the same, and hasn’t been ruined. Genuinely get stressed out if I can’t find this mask before bed now, it’s been such an investment (lol) this mask has helped me through a lot of lonely nights, it’s like my comfort teddy, in mask form 😂🥰
