When I first received this lamp, I was excited by the promise of full-spectrum light at 10,000 lux and the chance to get a mood boost during the darker months. On the plus side, it definitely delivers a strong, bright illumination that feels more energizing than a standard desk lamp. After a few weeks of use (about 20-30 minutes each morning), I found myself more alert and felt a subtle but noticeable improvement in my general sense of well-being — especially on mornings when I otherwise would’ve stayed under the covers.The design is sleek and compact; it fits easily on a small table and the adjustable angle lets me direct the light just where I wanted it. The lack of UV emission is reassuring, and I appreciate that it’s not glaringly harsh or painfully bright if you’re sitting a reasonable distance away.That said, despite its strong positives there are a few trade-offs you should know about. First, although the lamp is bright, the 360° claim feels a little exaggerated in my setting — I had to constantly adjust the angle to get the light where I was working (especially if I moved within the same room). Second, the adjustable brightness and color-temperature modes are a bit fiddly, with the controls less intuitive than I’d like; I ended up delving into the manual more than expected.
