Overall this is a 9 out of 10. The light and varying levels are great. The ability to use is good as well. The base is not as heavy as it could be and we had to weight it down a it would not be pulled over.

Great brightness, adjustability, and mounting options. Use as a desk, floor, or table lamp. Mount to a monitor arm, bracket, etc. Remote control works really well without direct line of sight. Total winner

I’ve tried a few of these lamps, and had come to the conclusion that it was all a placebo. They didn’t help, they just made my head hurt. Well, this one ALSO made my head hurt (ha ha), but I think that’s a common side-effect of starting light therapy, and it went away over time. I have not been nearly as depressed this year after starting it, and that’s with being forced off an anti-depressant cold-turkey because the VA can’t get a veteran’s meds to them on time (are we surprised? No. No we’re not).The ability to clamp it to a table is great, because I don’t have room near my desk for a standing lamp, so I clamped it on the hole in my desk for cords, and it doesn’t block the gap for other cords at all. I love the gooseneck feature, the neck is solid enough that it stays in position. The different color options for the light are great, too. My only gripe is that the controls on the base faced the other side once it’s screwed all the way down on the clamp, as that makes them, you know, invisible.But there’s a remote. So problem solved.

This thing is simply awesome, especially on those gloomy days. I do think that there needs to be a warning with this light, however. You need to take it slow because you can overdose on it if you aren’t ready. I probably stayed under the bright light a little too long for starters because I was highly agitated for the day. Once I reduced my time to 15 minutes per day, I was fine. I’m not able to use it as long as I want without having any issues and best of all, I’m happy… So happy, that I’m purchasing a few of these as Christmas gifts.

I bought this for my son who suffers from seasonal depression, and he absolutely loves it. Before the lamp he would suffer for multi months in the winter, plus he works in the evenings, so not up during a lot of the day, and this past winter he used it all winter, and did not have 1 bout of depression/blues. Great price as well, and a massage place he works at, the owner bought one to use at the Spa for her customers. They love it. So worth it. Thank you.

Misleading-Not Light Therapy
This lamp is awesome in the brightness it delivers and the different light settings, HOWEVER, it is not a therapeutic grade light therapy lamp as it claims. The marketing is misleading. The heating element also does not work. I will be returning.
