I AM A PHYSICAL THERAPIST AND THE PROFESSIONAL BRACES ARE FITTED TO THE PATIENT THROUGH A PROFESSIONAL WHO TAKES YOUR MEASUREMENTS AND MORE AND THEY DO THIS FOR A LIVING.THE SIZE CHART IS SPOT ON. IF YOU FALL INBETWEEN SIZES, ORDER THE LARGER SIZE. THE VELCRO IS PROFESSIONAL GRADE AND WILL NOT QUIT ON YOU AS YOU SEE IN CHEAPER BRACES. I HAD ONE ON HAND, BUT THEY ARE SUPER CHEAP IF YOU FIND YOURSELF IN MY SITUATION.MY AMBULATION HAS IMPROVED CONSIDERABLY. IT IS ALL DUE TO THIS BRACE. I ORDERED TWO OTHER ONES THAT WERE NOT ANY GOOD BEFORE I FOUND THIS ONE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, AND I WILL RECOMMEND IT TO THE APPROPRIATE PATIENTS, AND FOR THOSE WHO’S INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER A CUSTOM BRACE THAT THEY CANNOT AFFORD.AGAIN, I FEEL THIS IS AS CLOSE TO A CUSTOM BRACE THAT IS SUPER CHEAP COMPARED TO THE COST OF A CUSTOM BRACE. Need to size up significantly if your knee is chronically swollen from OA
It looks like a well made knee brace but there needs to be a better formula for sizing. The measurement (thigh circumference) is taken 6″ above the patella. This doesn’t work if the knee is chronically swollen from osteoarthritis. My thigh measured exactly 20″ so, in theory, a Large should have worked but I was 0.4 inches from an XL. I purchased the XL and was unable to get it over my knee. I am returning the XL and ordering the XXL to see if I can make it work. Note: I just received the XXL and it now fits okay. I took a walk around the block and I think it’s going to work out fine – but beware of the sizing issues. It feels very comfortable and seems to help ease the pain and instability.

Well made and supportive knee brace.
Comfortable and well made knee brace. Straps at top and bottom of brace are adjustable to fit. Extra straps help support the knee and brace in the correct position. Used it daily for several weeks of a knee sprain. My medical provider approved of the brace when they saw it on me.

Probably okay but order size up
The brace seems very stable and wouldWork except it is VERY uncomfortable. I measured my leg several times to make certain. I got it right but when the brace arrived it was way too tight and I could barely get it on. It was really hot that day and when I tried to remove it, it stuck and was horrible getting it off. However, it seemed like it would be great if the size was correct so I ordered the next size up. It was easier to get on but still uncomfortable and I could not keep it on more than two hours. I would like it better if it opened fully and did not pull on so that it could be loosenedA bit when needed. It seems very well made but I just can’t wear it and went back to my old one. I tore my meniscus a drive couple of weeks ago but I have to work and I am on my feet a lot. I wanted something more stable and I think this would have been perfect if it was more adjustable. I have no issue with the price or the quality but the fit could be better and they may want to adjust their sizing chart.

Well worth the cost.
This was a great buy. The sizing chart for ordering was spot on. I’m a XXXXL according to said chart and it fits perfectly.It is working great and is comfortable enough to wear all day at work. 12 hours plus. I also still have full range of motion that is needed to climb in and out of semi. If your on the fence like I was looking at several others and scouring through reviews. This may just be what your looking for.

Great value
It is a solid knee brace. When tightened properly to your knee it provides a substantial amount of torque that attempts to keep your knee straight (like as you bend your knee, the brace is resisting that motion). I tried wearing it for a soccer game and it was tolerable, but frankly a bit too much, so I am using a slightly less intrusive knee brace for soccer. But this one seems like a great option for skiing.I broke my patella 4 years ago and am still trying to figure out how to best resume my former activities of soccer, skiing, snowboarding, etc. This brace is part of the plan to get back to skiing and snowboarding.

Unit works as advertised
Very comfortable to wear with a lot of support. Make sure you get the size right. I went one size larger, worked ok for because you can tighten the straps. The unit is slip on (vice what I would call a wrap around which I had before).
