I was looking for a birthday gift for my girlfriend who’s into fitness and came across this set. Based on the photos and description, it seems to have everything she needs to start with Pilates at home. The package includes a good variety of equipment like the ring, bands, and the ball, which looks very convenient. The storage bag is a nice touch for keeping things tidy. this review is for the “JKSHMYT Pilates Ring Kit, Pilates Equipment – 14.5″ Home Pilates Circle with Pilates Ball, Resistance Bands, Better me Essentials Magic Pilates Set for Workouts” black.I thought I’d ordered purple but somehow got black instead. Not a big deal as it doesn’t effect the quality, just a personal color preference.It seems of decent quality, well made, easy to assemble. I’m a novice so I don’t know how it stacks up against others but it seems effective. The hoop is a good weight. Not too light or heavy but seems durable. There’s no pump included to inflate the ball so I can’t attest to how well it performs yet. It seems pretty small and I don’t understand how to use it yet. I really like that there are four different levels of difficulty in the bands. The bag is appreciated. Everything has that plastic smell one would associate from a certain blonde plastic doll’s dreamhouse we all wanted as kids, i.e. they stink. Hopefully the smell will dissipate eventually. Decent value for the money.I’m not sure if I would reorder but I would recommend to anyone wanting a decent set of Pilates tools.

Great exercise!
As you can see from the picture, it comes with four bands, the ring, a ball and a bag, as it can also see in the pictures, everything fits into the bag nicely, though it is a little bit of a squeeze for the ring. You have to assemble the ring yourself, but it is super easy to do and feels good in the hand with a good grip. The ball on the other hand they gave you items to inflate it with, but then don’t tell you how to do it. I wound up just shoving the straw in and then quickly replacing it with the pin and I have absolutely no idea what the weird fork thing was for. The bands themselves are light, medium, heavy and extra heavy. They definitely feel very sturdy and made with good quality material and elastics. No major smell unless you’re actively smelling them in which they smell like plastic so not a big issue. The ball also seems fine as long as you can fill it up as much as you need. It doesn’t seem like it’s gonna pop easily. It is actually really nice to the touch so great for working out with. Overall these are good materials, easy to set up and overall good value. Also, it does come with a poster that offers some exercise ideas for your ring, which is nice.

Good quality set
This is a really nice set. I ordered it primary for the ring, but have been surprised how helpful the ball is for doing modified/supported crunches. I have spine issues so can’t do a full sit-up without a lot of movement in areas that didn’t move, but this is doable and comfortable for my back.I like the ring so much more than a thigh master I also ordered recently. Even though the ring doesn’t have adjustable tension, it’s much more comfortable and is also useful for many more exercises.There weren’t instructions for inflating the ball (it comes with a little straw, a spare plug, and a forked piece that I (think) I figured out is to hold the straw to allow for quicker insertion. I could only get my ball inflated probably 95%, and that works for me.The bands are your average bands, and seem to have nice graduated strengths. They’re as good as all of the similar bands I have.A nice bonus is the drawstring bag which will be useful in keeping the rubbery items away from my puppy. My photo is with all items in the bag and showing the backpack drawstring straps. It’s all super lightweight in case you are carrying it anywhere.

A wonderful product for home and at the physical therapy clinic

I am using this kit and working with a physical therapist. The goal is to build core strength to help with recovery following an upcoming surgery.I have worked with resistance bands for many years and have found it helpful. The Pilates ring is new to me and I am enjoying it and am progress well.The Kit seems very strong and durable. I am certain it will be a part of my post surgery recovery plan. I glad to have found items that will last.The price seems very good for all the items in the kit. It’s wonderful to have the color I prefer instead of the colors available at my physical therapy clinic.I am very pleased with the product and it has served me well at home and in the clinic

Great Value
I acquired a reformer a few months ago and love it! I have a few accessories to use with it, but not a ton. All my rubber bands have hardened and broken, so I knew this kit would be super useful. It arrived yesterday so I put it to use. Everything is very well packaged in a pretty small box, but these is a LOT of plastic waste which is kind of a bummer. But all the products themselves seem pretty high quality and it also comes with a bag to put it all in.I get a little annoyed when companies like this can’t even bother trying to come up with a company name. What kind of name is “JKSHMYT”? Really rolls of the tongue, and what’s annoying is they have it all over the products. I’d prefer not branding, or a brand that isn’t so suss sounding.But other than that mild annoyance, the products themselves are really good!
