Ordinary heating patches
These are ordinary, medium-sized heating patches, though a bit bulkier than I expected. If gentle heat usually helps you with menstrual cramps, these should offer some relief. However, mine never got truly hot – just comfortably warm. The instructions say to use them over clothing, but in that case the heat is barely noticeable. I tried one directly on my skin for about an hour (not recommended as per instructions), and even then it only felt comfortably warm. Packaging is good, but text could be better – it is clearly written by a non-native English speaker, but still understandable. The Amazon listing is also slightly misleading. Some photos look edited and don’t represent the real size, while others make the patches appear thinner than they actually are. They’re also not “lightweight” as advertised in the listing.

Works well, no sticky residue
Like a typical hand warmer, all you have to do is remove a patch from its individually sealed package and it starts warming up right away. It has an adhesive side to it if you peel off the wax paper, and then it can stick to clothing. I was worried it might ruin the clothes it’s attached to, so I started with my menstrual underwear I don’t care about. Turns out that wasn’t an issue, and it seems to come off without leaving a residue or anything behind. It stayed warm for a long time, several hours. My only concern would be that it might be too hot if the only thing between it and your skin is a regular thin piece of underwear. For my thick menstrual underwear, it was just right. I tried going without my pamprin. The patch helped, but I still prefer to use the pamprin with it. Together, it’s a great combination. These are pretty cheap too, no more expensive than hand warmers, maybe even a little less.Bottom line, if you think heat will help your cramps, this will deliver it effectively and inexpensively.

Convenient gentle comforting heat patch when traveling
This box of heating patches comes with four patches. I wear one over a thin panty with the pad placed near my lower back. The patch is not too big, so it does not impair movement. When worn over thin clothing, the heat is gentle yet effective. It also seems to last a long time. I think this would be good for long flight too when I usually get lower back pain due to the cold air. I would probably use my electrical heating pad at home and reserve these for travel or when out in cold weather. That said, the cost is quite reasonable considering there are four patches in the box.

Nice on-the-go solution to cramping
I use a heating pad at home to deal with cramps but never thought to use a product like this when I HAD to be out and about when I didn’t really feel like it. Sometimes you have prior commitments that don’t really care how you feel when it is time to go and this is a great solution.I found the best way to use these was to stick the adhesive to my leggings so the hot part of the pad was up against my body. I didn’t feel like the instructions were super clear but this is one of those products that you just have to try different things and see what works for you. It can also change depending on your outfit that day.I thought the patches would be a little bigger (and kind of wish they were). I found it to be warmer than a HotHands product I tried it side-by-side with and the adhesive was stickier than the HH as well.Overall if I am cramping too bad I will probably just stay home, but these will be nice to have around on the rare occasion that it isn’t an option.

Long Lasting Heat
These work well. You stick them to your clothing over the spot where you would like heat. They do last many hours but the instructions indicate not to use them with bedding. I suspect many people get this to use while sleeping but the seller seems to be covering themselves in case something goes wrong with you using it while sleeping. Also I am a bit nervous with the use of the term “etc.” in the ingredients list. I don’t plan on opening it and won’t discard it in a burn pile but still think it odd to even have an ingredient list if you are not actually going to list all the ingredients.

Good quality glue and heating. Worked all night. I like these.
11/30/2025 review of the Heating Patches for Pain Relief, Long Lasting Warm Therapy for Menstrual Cramps & Back, 10-Hour Warmth, 4-Pack: $8.99Pros:1. Heat lasts all night. It’s not very hot all not but warm enough to notice / soothe.2. Glue on the patch latches on to clothes well. I’ve had to reposition the pad and it stayed on after removal and reapplication.3. There’s no funky odor nor any rashes.I’d get these again but on sale.

Bulky junk
For starters, it’s just not comfortable. Something near your skin that does not flex is never going to feel good. The photos on the box are truly misleading. These are NOTHING like what you’d imagine (thinking of Salonpas). Next is the fact that you must attach it to your fabric. One would expect it to be on your actual body. This is a complete waste of money. I also must have received a defective batch, because mine never warmed up AT ALL.

Do not recommend
Very sticky. It says apply it to the underside of your clothes. I had to peel it off and reapply it a couple times to get it in the place I wanted it. It stayed sticky enough to stay on all night, and it wasnt uncomfortable to sleep with. Not itchy or sharp. It doesnt get very hot. I didn’t have a way to check the actual temperature. I’ve purchased hand warmers the got hotter than these patches. Im not sure what the original language the product was made with, unless the packaging company is really bad at basic English grammar, but the translations of the instructions and warnings on the package have typos and a lot of weird grammatical errors. I do not recommend these patches. There are definitely better ones out there.
