These are nice high density foam blocks that I repurposed as display risers. But I may use them for yoga at some point. Good price and nice product.

I just wanted to write a review on these Foam Blocks. No disrespect to the folks that use them for what they are, Yoga Blocks.I actually bought these for my left and right desktop, or bookshelf, speakers. For my purpose, they are awesome. My speakers are the Micca MB42X, and I needed to lift them off the desk about 6 to 9 inches, so these ProSource Foam Blocks worked great. The speakers are about H: 9″ x W: 6″ x D: 6″. So I stood both blocks upright together giving me a nice foam block speaker stand of about H: 9″ x W: 6″ x D: 8″. I wasn’t sure if one block for each speaker would work, so I ordered one set of 2 at first to test it out. I found it much more stable to use both for the left speaker, and ordered another set for the right speaker.Being that I ordered the Black Foam Yoga Blocks, and my speakers are black, it really makes for nice finished look. The rounded edges on the speaker cabinet and the beveled edges on the foam blocks just blend together quite well. Again, no disrespect to folks buying and using them for Yoga purposes, and no disrespect to ProSource for using them for another purpose, but I must say, they really do make a nice speaker stand!

These have been the best blocks ive purchased. The labeling doesnt stand out to much. The look is pleasing with no blemishes. It has a nice texture to it thats easy to hold and wont slip out of your hands.Of course i dont use these for their intended purpose, instead i use them as a stand for my headphones. But i bet they work great for yoga as well.Just overall a well made and attractive product.

These are decent quality blocks (definitely not the best) especially for the price. If you are looking for the best of the best, this is not the product to get; if you are looking for decent quality at a fair price, go for these.

Okay product. I ordered the black ones, & I received them looking more like a charcoal gray, with slight discoloration and a couple scratch marks here and there. These blocks will get the job done, but they are not of a high quality material or standard that I would like. I will likely be returning these for a sturdier set of cork blocks.

Great for newbies and seasoned yogis- and P90Xers
I will admit that I had never heard of yoga blocks before (yes, go ahead and laugh at me) until I started P90X. After trying one round of Yoga X, it was darn near impossible for me to do some of the twists and moves without them. I’d tried yoga once before but Yoga X (much like a “power yoga”) was very different.I immediately went and ordered some knowing I wasn’t going to survive without them and the $13 was so worth it. The proportions are great since I can move them to achieve different heights that I may need in different exercises. They’re pretty firm but have a little bit of give to them when you’re resting your hands or a lot of your weight on them. They’re easy to grip and move around quickly if you need to adjust.A must if you’re doing P90x or a beginner in yoga. If you’re more advanced, I imagine they’d be a huge help in gaining reach in stretches etc.

Strong challenger to a more ‘premium’ brand.
I got a pair of Hugger Mugger blocks and also this significantly cheaper pair in the ProSource brand. The Hugger Mugger block is a tiny bit denser, heavier and firmer than the Pro Source. The H/M block also looks and feels just slightly more premium. H/M is 4″ thick whereas the ProSource is actually 3.75″ thick.I find I like both blocks for different reasons. The H/M blocks do feel ever-so-slightly more stable – likely due to the extra 1/4 inch width, density and weight. But the ProSource is still a strong challenger to the pricey H/M brand. I find that the very slight softness of the ProSource makes holding yoga poses easier because it feels more comfortable to my soft hands and against my back. Plus it’s an incredible value for the price.

I’ve no idea what these are actually for, because I use them to set a noisy compressor on, in an effort to keep it down a bit- which it does! The blocks are really nicely made, out of some light-weight foam of some kind. Beautifully shaped as well. So, they may do your yoga , but at the price for two, it’s hard to moan and complain.
