Smells exactly as expected
Smells exactly as expected when burning. I’m using it under a candle warmer, so I’m not sure of the length of time it will burn, but so far, well worth the purchase.

Amazing scent, a bit pricey
This candle smells absolutely amazing. The fragrance fills the room perfectly and lasts a long time. The only downside is that it’s a bit expensive, but worth it if you want a luxurious scent experience.

Sooty flame!
This candle was wild, and not in a good way.I had this burning for one evening, and my whole downstairs got so smoky we thought the oven was on!But it was this candle.When I went to check on it, I saw it had left black carbon on the toilet seat. The craziest part? It left a literal outline in soot of where my scissors were sitting on the countertop. I’ve been wiping down residue for days, and I even blew black soot out of my nose the next day.I know you’re not supposed to burn candles for hours on end, but I’ve never had any candle do this, let alone one this expensive. I’m not sure if it’s the wax or the wick, but this is a no from me.

It smells just like the cologne! Beautiful light scent. Not flowery but fresh and clean. I love these scents! I use a candle warmer and it creates a great scent in the room.

Smells just like the popular Salt and Stone deoderant
It’s almost too much.You’ve probably smelled Salt & Stone’s take on santal on at least one woman using their deodorant. It’s VERY distinctive, very powerful. It’s a deep, sticky, woody fragrance that comes at you in waves. It makes me feel turned around, dizzy even.The scent to me feels more feminine than unisex, but less so if you’re using it to add fragrance to your home than if you’re wearing it under your armpits.For the price, I would have liked this candle to last a little longer, but the fragrance is so strong, I would recommend using it under a candle warmer or saving some of the melted wax for one of those little wax warming lamps to extend the life.If you go to Sephora you can sniff test all the salt and stone varieties – I find the candle fragrance to be spot on faithful to the line of beauty products.

THE best smell ever made. Always my go-to from Salt and Stone. Bought as a gift and they loved. Perfect amount of sweet and woodsy without it smelling like candy or cologne. Perrrrfecto!
