I love this vitamin C! Viva Naturals is one of the only companies I have found that sells non-GMO Vitamin C in capsule form. For me, capsules disperse into my bloodstream more readily. I learned the benefits of taking vitamin C early on in my life, so when all else failed, I upped my vitamin C intake. Fortunately, I also discovered Dr. Thomas E. Levy, MD’s books on the importance of taking high dose vitamin C to prevent heart disease, cancer and other health problems~especially since I am a person who has had a lot of surgeries from broken bones and dental work involving root canals, silver amalgam fillings, and porcelain plated nickel crowns. I had to learn the hard way that I am very allergic to metals. Many people don’t even know that most porcelain crowns have nickel in them). I didn’t. (Dr. Thomas Levy’s website is: peakenergy.com)I presently take 8 grams 4 times a day spacing the time from 8:00 AM to 8:00PM. I take my doses of vitamin C with food to prevent what Dr. Levy calls the “bowel effect.” He says there is no worry as to how much vitamin C one can take, but there can be a bowel effect which is why I space my dosages and take them with a small healthy meal without wheat or sugar. A number of my doctors over the years have told me that taking high dose vitamin C has saved my life. I already knew it to be true. Because vitamin C is an antioxidant, it has also had anti-aging effects on me too, keeping me young, vibrant & full of energy. I have tried a lot of different brands of vitamin C but this high quality non-GMO vitamin C with bioflavonoids & rose hips in capsule form is my favorite. In my opinion, vitamin C is the best health protection there is and it combines with other natural medicinals without worry of side effects. I have no intention of ever stopping my life long habit of taking high doses of vitamin C. In 1970 Linus Pauling won the Nobel prize for his research on vitamin C. Easy to swallow capsules. Not too large and never gets stuck in the throat!I consume lots of vitamin C and this one does a great job of fighting invaders.I also use other brands with patented slower absorption but can’t tell the difference.Whenever a flu tickles the throat:1. We eat fresh garlic cloves [with whole wheat organic toast plus butter and honey or avocado],2. Drink fresh ginger root tea3. I pop 5-10 of these [5grams -10gr] per day, upon awakening, during the day and before sleeping.With PLENTY of WATER. You need lots of water with high doses Vitamin C to avoid acidity reactions.Use quality reverse osmosis filtered water or good still mineral water – we drink lots of water every day and have a kitchen sink filter system plus a pitcher filter on top of that so our water is safe from poison and safe to consume.Whenever sick or feeling your body is low energy and for daily boosting – vitamin C is very important.When used for daily immune booster – 1-3 capsules is typically enough.When sick – up to 20 caps a day or till you get the runnies. Drink lots of water and it mitigates the runnies. Give it rest if you go high dose and get the runnies.We never take any pharma poisons – me and family have natural immune system take care of our coronaviruses naturally and successfully.To your health!

You need to take a lot of this stuff to live longer but it’s easy to swallow.
These are large capsules and so far I’ve had no trouble swallowing them (which I often do with large pills). I bought them because they are none GMO and had a natural sounding combo of ingredients. Mostly I got them because they give a large dose of C and I believe in the book Primal Panacea’s advice that we need to take massively more vitamin C than we normally do. One handy tip is supposed to be that taking enough C early enough in a cold cycle should enable you to fight off the cold much faster. The problem is knowing how much to take. Sadly it seems impossible to take enough orally so I am investigating taking it via IV drip. It seems around 35g a day is needed to fight the cold virus and ramping up the pills doesn’t work as gut absorption falls off rapidly over 2 or 3g at once. I tried taking up to 8g a day spreading the doses out over the course of a day but that had no effect on my cold. I would say recovery has been improved: no congestion aftermath thus far. A base level of C is perhaps 6g a day: that is doable with these capsules if spread out over the day. I like the idea it will extend life by several healthier years. But if you get cancer you will need an IV clinic for 100g per day mega doses for a few days. The nice thing about taking lots of C is there is no apparent overdose level. In fact we have the means to make our own but just lack one enzyme to complete the chain of manufacturing it. Most mammals still can make their own.
