Better than the Midol patches, about the same (but for different reasons) as the ThermaCare patches
I’ve tried a bunch of different iron-based heating patches in the past, and have even resorted to using the boot and glove warmers (we always have those on hand, especially through the damp winter months) if I ran out of the larger heat patches.These are definitely better than the Midol heat patches ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09RBGGNC5 ). The heating area/zone is larger than their little heart-shaped one, and there’s more surface area on the patch as a whole so the adhesive/sticker stays on better over time.I think the ThermaCare patches ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LHCN264 ) are just a little better (for me) than these, however, for a couple of reasons. For these patches, I DO like that the patch has more surface area for the adhesive to stick to you (or your clothes, however you decide to put it on). I haven’t decided if I like the single, larger heating area of this patch more or less than the many, smaller heating areas of the ThermaCare patch, though. I feel like with this patch I get more heat (hotter and for longer) than the ThermaCare patches, BUT the ThermaCare patches do a better job of distributing their heat over a larger area overall since there are a bunch of small heat cells/pockets spread throughout the patch. Both formats work for different types of pain or levels/severity of cramping, so that’s probably just up to personal preference.The higher price point for these patches (around $5/each) compared to the ThermaCare patches (around $3/each) is a bit of a negative for me, but that may be because I didn’t really notice any extra benefits or different results from the addition of the herbs they included. I’ve never been particularly sensitive to those kinds of things* in general, however, so if you’ve found relief/help from herbal remedies, supplements, tinctures, teas, etc. you may have a different experience with these patches than I did, so the extra cost per patch may be worth it for you.*If I have a cold or sore throat, for example, any hot tea with a little honey will help me out just as much as plain old hot water with honey (ya girl has a bit of a sweet tooth, okay?). I’m allergic to a whole host of grasses, tree pollens, and a handful of other things that are often included in herbal supplements (echinacea is a major/common one), and as such, I’ve never really been able to try very many herbal or plant-based remedies (being allergic to soy puts a damper on quite a bit of that). No hate or shade to the folks who DO like those types of things, they’re just not really MY thing, you know?

Seems good and warm enough. Sticks well on hairless body and don’t stick well on skin with hair. It should have come with band to keep it in place or you can use some band.Pros:-Handy when you hurt yourself and need heat patch.-oil helps not sure how much-Good for hairless body or you can trim-Helps with pain and smells ok.-Better than using head pads as u can apply and move around. Heat does help and effective with pain management.Cons:-Not for hairy folks :)Its good to keep when traveling or going out of sports as you may need. Quality wise looks good and easy to use, may be economical when you really need heat patch to avoid further damage.

Works, but is a bit bulky
These do work, but at $5/piece I’m not sure it’s the best option. I came home from work knowing it was going to be one of those days I needed to curl up in bed for a bit and wax happy I remembered I had these patches waiting to try. They are like a giant bandaid, just peel and stick. The heating portion is pretty thick, though. I would not want to try wearing this on my belly under clothes in public. At home in bed was pretty nice, though. It warmed up quickly and didn’t get too hot for my skin. I did not bother with the included heat sticker because I wasn’t planning to keep my eyes open to read it and trusted my body to tell me if it became too hot. After about 90 minutes my belly got really itchy where the adhesive was so I decided to take it off and see if I could restock it to my lower back. It pulled my skin a bit, just like a bandaid, but the redness went away quickly and the itchiness went away. There wasn’t enough stickiness left on the patch for it to adhere to my back well, but my leggings held it roughly in place so I could enjoy the heat for a while longer.I didn’t smell any of the herbs that are supposed to be packed into this thing, but as it is much thicker than other heating patches I assume there’s something good packed in there. My belly did feel quite a bit better after my time with it on. I will keep the other 2 heating patches for travel purposes and stick to my reusable heating pads for home use. The hunt continues for a stick on heating pad that lasts and isn’t visible through clothing for when I need discreet heat therapy on the go.

Self heating patches
These self heating patches starts heating up in less than 10 minutes after being exposed to the air. It stayed in place for most of the day in the office and helped reduce period cramps. The profile is not the thinnest, but it is not visible underneath the shirt and pants if it is not too thin and tight.

It’s okay, not great
Picture a large bulky bandaid and ten stick it your abdomen. That’s pretty much what it looked it. The product itself was okay. I didn’t find anything especially remarkable about it. It worked but I’m not sure that I would wear these in public because they are a little bulky. The price was a little expensive since you can find the same thing cheaper.I would probably not order this product again.

This is one of those products you are happy to have on hand but hope you do not need anytime soon. We have not used these yet because thankfully there has been no reason to, but with my brother, mom, and wife, who all go through patches frequently, in the mix, I am sure it is only a matter of time before one of these comes to the rescue. I like that they are herbal, seem to be a good size, and are individually wrapped with an expiration date clearly marked. That makes them easy to store and even easier to grab when needed. I will update once we have put them to the test, but for now they get points for presentation and practicality.

Very good and easy to use. They heat up quickly and lasts for a very long time. Great to relief pain during menstrual cycles. They have a strong adhesive and stick to skin well. Only negative is that the heating pad itself is a bit small and bulky

Currently £14.99 for 3 x patches, so at £5 each, seems a bit pricy.Easy to use, just open the packet and use as a band aid by peeling off the backing strips and stick to the tummy or in my case, the back.It doesn’t take too long to heat up and does help easing the back pain. The whole patch is a lot bigger than the actual heat part, which is a shame.Once you take it off, it is a bit difficult, like taking a plaster off, which can hurt a little, but it’s short pain, however I wouldn’t recommend for anyone with hairy backs or tummys!
