Another superb supplement from Bluebonnet Nutrition.
I bought my first Bluebonnet Nutrition supplement in the 1990’s at a store in south Austin, Tx. Over the many years since, I’ve come to believe that if they offer something I need, the quality will meet or surpass my expectations, and the price will be reasonable, if not very good.Started learning about probiotics a few years later, an onging concern for me, as science progresses. Newer technologies such as DNA certification of strains are helping manufacturers create a variety of new products, such as this very well designed combination of 5 DNA-certified strains of beneficial bacteria, plus Acacia fiber. Acacia fiber is a good prebiotic which ferments less rapidly than more commonly used ones such as FOS; so a bit less risk of flatulence. I am hopeful I can feel at least several of the known benefits these bacteria promote internally… but it’s too soon for that.These come in a brown glass bottle for maximum protection until they are opened by you, yet do not require refrigeration after opening. A plus for those who have ‘too small’ fridges.Being only a 30 day supply I ‘really’ wish they used smaller bottles, or would sell larger quantities in these bottles, which could easily hold 100 – if not 120 – capsules this size.This is still a 5 star product despite excess packaging.

Nice Offering from Blue Bonnet
Love that these have no taste or smell. They capsule is not large and I find them easy to swallow. I haven’t had any issues taking them. I’ll see how I feel at the end of 30 days. My previous brand became so hard to find and I need to find another option and I like Blue Bonnet. This one also has the Acacia Fiber which my other brand doesn’t have. I generally go for more strain variety, but there are advantages to trying less strains to narrow down what helps and what doesn’t. If something here bothers you, it would be easier to track down than the 10 or 14 strains types.The bottle is quite large for 30 pills, which does really even fill up the bottom. I checked to see if I could order a higher quantity that fills the bottle but 30ct seems to be the only option. The bottle had a safety seal and the expiration was well into the future. For 20billion ICUs and five strains, the price is not bad, especially if one needs a product without dairy or wheat, or requires the kosher certification. They have the NSF stamp as well. My favorite health food store carries these as well and I’ve tried other products from Blue Bonnet with success.

I love this probiotic, it’s noticeably higher in quality than others that I’ve tried. There are a total of 5 probiotic strains in this plus prebiotic fiber. The container is also made of amber glass rather than plastic, so this helps improve storage and contributes to a higher quality supplement. Best of all, this probiotic is much more affordable than others.
