Great for a pilates beginner
I recently started doing pilates, and this mat works great for my needs! Being a taller person, I love the extra length and width. It flattens out very nicely after unrolling it, and it’s a comfortable thickness. It seems to grip the floor well, and I like the subtle textured pattern on the top too. I just wear regular socks during my practice, and I don’t slide around at all on this mat. The carry strap is comfortable and easy to take on and off. It also doesn’t leave any indentations in the mat when I tighten it. I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this mat because there are cheaper options out there, but I feel like I made the right call and will get a lot of use out of this one.

Love the large size and texture
So nice to have a yoga/workout mat that your body isn’t rolling as much onto the ground outside of it while doing your activities. The color is pretty, the texture and level of thickness is comfortable for your knees, etc. I did not notice any smell, as some people noted upon opening- which I imagine would air out if it did.Comfortable, not slippery, and versatile as I’m able to comfortably do strength training, yoga, and full body stretching on it. Just be sure to wrap it up after each use, debri sticks easy to it, and keep your cat away from it, because if it’s anything like mine- will immediately opt to scratching it.

Nice but a bit different than what I was expecting
Nice mat, love the colour and I got the matching blocks too. Based on other reviews I was expecting it to be larger than it was. Also I was expecting it to be more like other thinner yoga mats I’ve had but this feels more like a foam mat. I do like it and am happy with it overall.

Good mat, but doesn’t come with the strap:
The yoga mat is a great size. It isn’t too big, but gives you plenty of room to not have to worry about coming off your mat. It did not come with the carrying strap like is advertised which is disappointing. The yoga mat also came very dusty.

This mat is thicker, I am 5’9” and it works for me. Includes the wrap strap so you can sling it over your shoulder.
