I cannot do bovine collagen, and this was my first attempt at marine. Extremely satisfied. Dissolves well in cold and room temperature beverages. No taste. I currently mix with matcha latte. Does not change flavor at all.

Very good product. Unflavored with no fishy taste/aftertaste. I don’t use a full packet each time. One-quarter packet works fine for me, so I end up with 4 servings to one packet. Twenty packets to a box. Non-GMO Project Verified with symbol on front of the box; this way you know there were no bioengineered products added to the product. Product can be added to any drinkable liquid, stir, and drink. For me, I would add to juice, water, or a smoothie. Not sure if the Marine collagen would work well in hot beverages. Sits well with the stomach, the texture is finely ground so mixes smoothly, no chemical or lab-added ingredients. The collagen adds good protein to the body and helps to plump up the skin. As far as for pain relief, if the product is used on a daily basis, eventually the collagen begins to build up the tendons and ligaments and helps with cushioning the areas between the bones to provide some relief. I am not a doctor and I can only suggest what it has done for me regarding pain relief.

Good but expensive
I’ve been a vegetarian for about 6yrs now and despite taking multiple vitamins a day I kept feeling like I was probably missing some nutrients. I had heard from an older woman that taking a spoonful of jello powder in hot water everyday has helped with joints and knowing that jello is basically just gelatin I thought maybe I should add collagen (since gelatin derives from collagen) to my diet. But I didn’t want any cow/pig/chicken derived collagen so figured I would give this marine one a try. I have been using 1 scoop in my tea every night. It does have a faint whiff of marine life to it, think like how some multivitamins smell if they have fish oil in them. But there is no taste. I’ve only tried dissolving it in hot water as well but it does disappear very quickly without needing to stir. It’s been 1 month and I have noticed improvements in my skin. My facial skin seems more supple. Although I’m still dealing with dryness (it’s winter and I’m using retin-a) I think it has helped. My hair has always grown quickly so can’t say if it’s helped with that. By far what I think it has helped the most is the keratosis pilaris I get on my upper arms. I wasn’t expecting that benefit but I started noticing after a few days and I feel like it has to be the collagen cause I haven’t used anything else new. And in general I just feel better. I only have a few days left of my first jar and for $36 dollars, I’m pretty much dropping $1 a day on this since it doesn’t last long at all. The suggested serving size is 1-2 scoops and no way would I be buying this 2x a month for 2 scoops a day. I’m purchasing one more time since most articles say to give collagen powder at least 6 weeks to see real results but then I’m looking for something cheaper. This brand is just expensive because most other sites have it listed for $32-39.

Great for travel!
I love these little travel packets. There’s so much easier to use than trying to measure it out yourself. I wouldn’t use them for every day though as they’re way too expensive.

Dissolves easily. Completely tasteless. I mix in water with liquid iv for an easy hydration drink. Curious to see the benefits over time. I’m meat free and glad I found this product. Also read in a bbc article that marine collagen is better anyway.

I️t does have a sea taste
Bought this a year ago. It is a good product but it DOES have a FISH sea smell and taste that I️ just can’t get over. I️ should have gotten the bovine option instead. I️ added it to my water because I️ don’t drink coffee, and the taste has stopped me from finishing the bottle, unfortunately. I️ tried adding it to my tea but it just messed up the flavor of my tea, so I️ stopped. Probably best to have with a strong drink.
