Who couldn’t use some affirmations and direction in their life? These 55 cards are a great pick me up when you are feeling down. We don’t think they are just for women, either.The pack is slightly thinner than a deck of cards. What’s interesting about these is that they have the same phrasing on the front and back, so you can’t keep what you’re reading a secret. But they are well made with a nice waxy feel, like playing cards. They are definitely fun and not for the weak or the the timid.A great value for 7 dollars.

Honestly I got these for myself. I flipped through them and found 5 cards that really spoke to me. The others are good too, but not necessarily for me in this moment. I love the swear words. For me, swearing is used for emphasis, and to call on strength. I don’t use swear words often, or randomly, therefore they are meaningful. I realize there are many different attitudes out there, but anyone who has strong feelings against them probably wouldn’t be looking at these cards anyway. However, if these are intended as a gift for someone else, make sure that cards with strong language are a good match for the person you are giving them to.Other than reading through the affirmations, I’m not sure how the cards would be used. Maybe as a bookmark or taped to the mirror? Each card has the same affirmation printed on both sides. I feel this might be a lost opportunity, as the reverse could feature a different affirmation or maybe even some cool artwork.One thing I noticed about how the cards are printed: a few have random ink spots, mostly small and unobtrusive, but one was a bit larger and I was able to scrape it off, which was unnerving because it was the colour of dried blood. And since I am a fan of murder mysteries, my imagination started to get creative before I shut that b**** down. (Oh wow! It looks like the affirmation cards might be working. 😄)

I love these cards and the affirmations are actually really solid words of advice to keep pushing you forward.The way that they’re written makes it feel like the way a good friend would talk to you. I like the fact that they’re so informal and the casual swear words used work to add emphasis to the sentences, instead of seeming like they’re added just for the sake of it.I enjoy them and use them personally every day, and as a professional Tarot reader, I have started including these as a card of support and affirmation for certain clients at the end of their reading. Clients love the confidence building vibe that they have.They are easy to read; all of the line work and lettering is nice and clear, and the card stock is good quality, but unfortunately it’s inconsistent. Some of the cards have a smooth finish. Others have more of a linen type feel. The deck is significantly smaller than most oracle/affirmation decks that you find, but very easy to shuffle.We could all use a we’re firm voice in our lives that gives us a little kick in the a** when we need it, and these cards work perfectly for exactly that. They’re great for personal support and would make a wonderful gift – I highly recommend them.

If you don’t like swear words this deck is not for you but I find this deck is a great stress reliever. I got this for a friend but debating on whether to keep it for myself. Feeling you’d like to say something but can’t say it out loud? Pick a card and use your inside voice to say it. I always seem to pick the right card for the right moment. Makes a great gag gift or get it for yourself. As the saying goes: laughter is the best medicine. And a few swear words just add to the belly laugh.
