Really enjoy this body oil. As with any product, it’s not for everyone but I really enjoy it. It brings me happiness as it reminds me of the spa. I understand why there’s a small opening because this oil is expensive and shouldn’t be wasted. For the most part the smell lasts for a while but doesn’t linger on all day. Wearing it with lotion either same scent or an everyday no scent lotion has helped linger a little longer. I love Elemis products and wish they weren’t quite as high but it’s hard to find quality products that I’m not allergic to and work. My skin has been dry my entire life and body oils are best for me. When I use lotion only, it doesn’t last. Body butters are great for dry skin bit I haven’t found one by Elemis. Using this body oil with lotion makes my skin not be dry the entire day.

I love the oil, but I dislike the dispenser.
Excellent product, but they really need to change the bottle/dispenser. This is too frustrating to try to get the solid gel oil out of the tiny hole in the top. I am absolutely in love with the smell of it, but I don’t want to have to warm up the bottle prior to each use!!!!! I read another review stating to place the bottle INSIDE your hot shower & it will be warm & ready for you when you are done showering. I will try this method. I love the oil, but dislike the dispenser.

I found this on a cruise in Tahiti – best body oil ever! Worth every penny. Scent is strong enough that you don’t have to use too much, but light enough not to be overpowering. Oil combo is sensual yet subtle. LOVE IT!!

This body oil smells like old age and despair
It’s my fault for not reading more reviews of this product before ordering it. I saw that it had an overall good average, and there were a few glowing reviews extolling the wonderful scent of this body oil so I went ahead and placed my order.When it arrived the oil was solid, as many other reviewers have noted. The package had been outside in the cold so I figured leaving it in my bathroom for a day or so would thaw it out. Nope. I had to use a heating pad to warm the bottle up and get the oil to a liquid state before I could try it.To open the bottle was a little bit annoying too: the bottle cap is super small. It’s the little flame-top looking point and it’s about the size of an almond, so I think people with dexterity problems will likely have an issue trying to get the cap off. I had tried unscrewing the entire silver colored top off (it wouldn’t budge) before realizing the little tip was the actual cap.As a moisturizer, it works fine, but it’s nothing special and certainly not better than other body oils I use.And finally, as other reviewers mentioned: this stuff does not smell good. It’s not fresh or clean smelling at all. It smells like something old ladies wear: it’s a faintly musty, plastic-sweet scent that gives me flashbacks to visiting nursing homes when I was in my grade-school choir and we sang for the residents at Christmas. I’m sure most of us have scent-memories of such places, and this body oil captures it perfectly.I have nothing against people who live in nursing homes, but I don’t want to smell like I’ve been living in one since the 50s.0/10, would not order again.

olio corpo profumatissimo, odore molto gradevole di frangipane. rende la pelle morbidissima e profumata, soprattutto dopo la doccia, quindi a pelle umida. in inverno però con il freddo si solidifica un pò quindi da riscaldare.

This oil is pure heaven. It smells divine and you can’t help but feel relaxed. I used it to give my legs a lift of confidence and moisturiser in the summer evenings, but it is also fantastic for massages..so soothing!It’s easy to use – it does solidify under cooler temperatures, so just pop it in a bowl with hot/warm water.. this also releases the fragrance, so it’s hard to be annoyed if it’s arrived solid.It’s not greasy and absorbs nicely. It works perfectly on my sensitive skin too…phew!While you may think it’s a bit steep in price, a little goes a long way. It’s not the kind of oil you use daily anyway..even if the fragrance is so heavenly you just want to basque in the scent all day.It’s a holiday in a bottle.. absolutely delightful.
