    SmartyPants Prenatal Gummies
I’ve tried a lot of different prenatals, and as someone with a B.S. in Dietetics, I’m pretty picky about vitamins. These have been by far the easiest for me to consume and digest, and I love that they include a wide range of key nutrients without causing nausea or stomach upset. One thing to note is that this prenatal does not include iron and is very low in choline—both of which are important during pregnancy. I personally added separate iron and choline supplements to my routine to cover those gaps.Even with that, these gummies are still my favorite daily prenatal because they taste good, don’t upset my stomach, and make it easy to stay consistent.

    Love it!
Tasty fruit flavor makes it a treat to take daily, with no fishy aftertaste from the algal DHA. It covers key nutrients like folate, choline, and vitamin D3. Perfect for on-the-go moms. Highly recommend for a pleasant prenatal routine!

    Great vitamins!
Taste super good! Don’t taste like vitamins. I will say I think they’re a bit sour.

    Yummy!
I got them in today! I was so excited to try them! They checked off everything I was looking for in a prenatal gummy. As soon as they arrived, I popped three in my mouth and the flavor was so explosive! I love them. If you like sour gummies, these are for you. If they treat me right, I will definitely purchase them again and again. Shipping was a little slow, probably because we’re a few weeks away from Christmas, but I’m hoping to get them faster in the future.

SO. DANG. SOUR. I couldn’t finish the bottle.
For the price and what you get, I think these gummies are a great buy. They don’t have iron, so they don’t mess up my stomach or make me sick. Anything with iron kills me, food or not. The orange ones do take like a child’s amoxicillin, but I don’t mind lol. The flavors are fine. None of them came melted or anything.HOWEVER. The amount of sourness these have. Holy cow. I’m weak with sour things, so it was a STRUGGLE for me to get 3 down every day. I’d eat them with food in my mouth and plug my nose and I’d still not be able to contain the sourness which would make me gag. That’s not the best when you’re pregnant 😂 I’m so glad they put the serving from 6 gummies to 3, because I truly could not eat 6 of these every day.I did end up buying a different gummy and not finishing these because I just couldn’t handle how sour these were to me. If you can handle sour, these are great gummies!

    Buy them!
I’ve tried a lot of different prenatals, including gummies, a lot have a weird taste. With This one , I have had no stomach issues and they taste great! Definitely repurchasing.

Some caveats, but I will never take another kind again!
I have been trying to successfully conceive for two years, and in that time, I have tried out many kinds of prenatal vitamins. After discovering the horse pill capsules don’t work well with my sensitive stomach, I have had to switch to gummies. This is maybe the fourth kind that I have tried, and despite some caveats, I don’t think I will ever use another kind again!Pros:-Hands down, the number one pro is my skin! Ever since going off of birth control, my skin has exploded in adult acne. This was quite distressing for someone who has always had pretty good skin. I have tried various soaps, scrubs, exfoliants, etc., for TWO YEARS, and it was still a red, bumpy mess. This month, I stopped everything but a mild bar soap twice a day, coupled with these vitamins, and my skin AMAZING. Soft, even-toned, and nary a zit to be seen, which is especially amazing considering where I am in my cycle. This alone is the reason why I will take this prenatal as long as possible!-Methylfolate. This contains a natural kind of folate, which not all prenatals do. I cannot say for sure that synthetic folate had anything to do with my recent loss, but I certainly am no longer taking any chances!-Natural ingredients from good sources.-Great price for what you get, especially with the frequent 30% off coupon.-Take with a meal, on an empty stomach, at 3am because you forgot to take them last night…it doesn’t matter. I am a notoriously weak-stomached person, and I can take these whenever, without issue. Not sure if that will be the same when HG rocks my world again, but I am doing great on them for now.Cons:-Okay, not going to lie…the taste and texture could be better. I have taken far worse for far longer though, so I am not fussing too much. These vitamins taste sort of like the old Flinstone vitamins from when we were kids. It’s not overly offensive, but not quite as yummy as, say, the Vitafusion prenatals. The texture is also less traditional gummy vitamin, and more reminiscent of a Gusher or Fruit by the Foot (those garbage snacks from the 90s). Again, not great, but not too off-putting.-You need 6 of these a day. I chew 3 at a time and move on. That’s a lot of vitamin chewing for me too, but I promise it’s bearable.-Yes, these lack iron. Most gummies don’t bond well with iron, so you will be hard-pressed to find a gummy prenatal with much of it in there, if any at all. I supplement it in my diet, but I also am no longer seemingly prone to anemia. You may want to take an additional iron supplement though.-Yes, these also don’t have the full daily value of everything, such as DHA. Again, it will need to be supplemented in your diet, or you will need to take an additional pill. Fish, eggs, certain dairy products, etc. are great sources of this. Finally, I thoroughly examined these for the black spots and weirdness other consumers have reported. I did not have any of that. I of course am skeptical and will continue to examine each batch for awhile, but they seemed okay for me for now. And considering they were half the price that Walmart charges, I will continue to take my chances unless Smarty Pants gives me a reason not to!

    Overly sweet
I decided to buy those prenatal vitamins few months ago after doing research on all available prenatal vitamins. What I liked about those vitamins was that they didn’t have any unhealthy fillers the other prenatal vitamins had and they were in form of gummies so they were a good option for people who have problems swallowing the pills. I cut two stars as unfortunately they have too much sugar (6g of sugar and 9g of carbs) which feels like eating a tablespoon of sugar each day. I don’t think it is healthy to eat so much sugar while being pregnant. Prenatal vitamins suppose to be healthy but too high content of sugar was probably added as they have a fish oil so the company wanted to mask the taste of it. I had a hard time eating 4 gummies a day because they were so sweet they made me nauseous. I did more research and was able to purchase the other prenatal vitamins from the same company which only have 3g of sugar and don’t taste too sweet. The only drawback is they do not have a fish oil but it can be purchased separately. If you do not like overly sweet things and do not want to have high sugar content in your diet I do not recommend them.

I ordered thinking that this doesn’t contain gelatin. However, there are two variants. One is a vegetarian one which does not contain any gelatin. So to my fellow Muslim women, be careful while you order. To The Smarty pants company: Please make halal gummies.
